Over 50% of the world's agricultural chemicals are used in cotton production. Wearing a hemp t-shirt instead of a conventionally grown cotton one can save 1000's of litres of water and nearly a cup of agro-chemicals. Hemp clothing tends to be strong, insulating, absorbent, and durable. This durability makes it well suited to garments that will see hard wear, because hemp fibers can last up to eight times as long as cotton fibers.
